For the typography approach, I was inspired to use Colchester postcodes to represent this particular geographic location. The Pacman image is created by the text CO1-10 which replaces the word Colchester. This colour scheme was inspired by the colour scheme that used in the Roman head.

For the abstractive approach, I used the photographic images from a wooden chair from our art college, the texture on the chair is rather interesting. There is a mixture of painting marks, graffiti drawings, newspaper collages made this ordinary art school unordinary.

This particular design combines all the abstractive, historical, and geography concepts and approaches into the design. The abstractive concept is shown by inverting the graphical texture image to the background and cutting out the Roman head shape from the background, in order to create an area to place the CO ‘pacman’ postcode text in.
